We are now home after our trip to Pestana Alvor Beach Villas! Everything went very well from start to finish.

Everything went well, except the weather, which my wife back in the UK thought was extremely amusing as they enjoyed unusually good weather.
The hotel Pestana Dom João II as always was excellent and your local team managed to rearrange our courses and tee times to allow us to play all the golf that we wanted. The club provider also helped us by rearranging the pick up times.
Thanks again to you and all your team. I look forward to arranging next years trip with yourself.

Pestana Dom João II was great, perfect location in Alvor for us to explore the town, hotel staff were great to deal with and the amenities were good as well.
Hilton Vilamoura was also a nice hotel, front staff were not the most pleasant but oh well, we didn't explore to much in the hotel. They did a very nice gesture for me on my birthday, delivered sparkling wine and a cake so that was very touching. 

Golf courses were amazing (Vila Sol, Gramacho, Silves, Pinta and Alto golf courses), and we had a few favorites!

We definitely loved the small town feeling of Alvor. The beaches were clean, the ocean and views were beautiful and everyone was friendly and inviting. This was more our vibe vs Vilamoura but we enjoyed Vilamoura.  We ventured to the Vilamoura Marina on our last day, very interesting down there and fun.

Overall, it was a great golf vacation! The food and pastries so yummy , the small cafes and bars were great!

It was a lovely stay for us at the Pestana Alvor beach villa.
It was very well organized stay for us, thanks a lot!! We are looking forward to the next year!

Dona Filipa:
Great hotel, probably the 4th visit here, everything works. The breakfast is very good and the dinner was also very good. The room was spacious, although there was no heat from the air conditioner, but it was not freezing.

Pestana Dom Joao II:
A solid hotel where everything works. Good breakfast and excellent value for money. 

The golf courses:
They are all familiar and good. San Lorenzo is my personal favorite, restaurant is Ok. Quinta Do Lago courses are great, restaurants is good. My husband liked Pinheiros Altos, Sea Bass in golf-restaurant is very good. Vale Da Pinta is also a nice course for club players and restaurant is good.

We did have a small bit of rain, but overall, it was great. We had meals in the Buganvilla 3 times, Rib Eye once and the Big Red's Steakhouse once. The hotel Pestana Dom João II as usual was very good, they even left a birthday cake in my room, which they have done before.
Thanks again, Kelly, you make it so much easier for me as the organizer. Hopefully next year we will be back.
