A delight for the golfer
The 18 Hole Championship Boavista golf course has been designed by Howard Swan, with the intention of creating a golf course as if it has always been there - preserving, integrating and harmonising with the area's natural terrain.
Complimenting this, Boavista Golf, located in the beautiful town of Lagos, offers spectacular views from the impressive hills of Monchique and the Algarve coastline.
The most interesting holes of Boavista
With two distinctive sections - the Resort Section (the 1st to the 3rd and the 13th to the 18th) and the Country Section (the 4th to the 12th), the Boavista Golf Course offers a variety of attractive and interesting holes commencing with the welcoming first hole, a meandering downhill par-4.
A number of holes at Boavista golf are already classics - for example, the exciting 6th par 3 requires a tee shot over a natural ravine, while lake holes 14, 15 and 17 provide an interesting array of water features. The golfers will face with a faithful reproduction of famous Swilken Bridge found at the 18th hole of St. Andrews.
Do not miss the Hole Nr. 7
The signature hole of Boavista Golf course, on the outward nine, is the stunning par-4, 7th hole set against a glorious backdrop of the Atlantic ocean with exhilarating panoramic views extending.
