As usual we had a good time in Portugal The weather was not the best!
Alvor is nice but not as nice as Cascais although we ate well!

The Penina Hotel & Golf Resort was excellent overall
Peninha golf course's greens were great despite wet conditions all over the course and the access to the course was really smooth.
We chose two drier days to go to espiche golf and thoroughly enjoyed the much drier conditions there.
We hired a car at the airport and our travel arrangements went verry smoothly.

We look forward to next year, maybe feb/march will be better conditions!

We enjoyed our stay very much!

Boavista was a perfect location to play the different courses and was very comfortable and service friendly. The weather was perfect.

Two things that we could make better next time:

1) It would have been a good information that Palmares has 27 holes, so that we could have decided which combination we would like to play.
2) In Espiche and Santo Antonio it wasn’t possible to book carts - it would have been a good information that booking in advance would be appropriate because the courses were quite crowded in these days of the year.
3) The Penina Resort is in comparison to the other courses not in best condition although the layout of the course itself is quite attractive and different to the other courses.

But this is very little critic in my feedback though everything else was perfect!

Thank you so much for recommending Penina Hotel & Golf Resort. Overall the hotel is great, the staffs were attentive and very nice, both golf courses were wonderful, Championship and Resort.
The food at this hotel were excellent and all restaurants we went to in Lagos, Carvoeiro, Alvor, Portimão and Ferragudo.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Penina and thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to take part in the Golf Tournament which was exceptionally well organised and a lot of fun.
This was our first time attending this event and Jorge and his staff were tremendous in ensuring our participation in the tournament was an extremely positive and enjoyable experience.
We could not find fault with any aspect of the trip. The Hotel was beautiful, very clean, staff were attentive/polite and the golf course was remarkable, in great condition for the time of year and a great challenge for every level of golfer.

During our stay we were able to make new friends with many of the people attending the event , many of whom I believe have been taking part in this event for over 10 years.
Being first timers we were made to feel extremely welcome and felt extremely comfortable playing golf and socialising with everyone participating in the tournament.

Usually, I am the person responsible for organising golf trips for myself and friends every year and we tend to travel abroad 2- 3 times every year.
Penina event was so well organised it was extremely nice for me not to have any of the usual responsibilities in relation to co-ordinating golf, arranging, transport, tee times etc.

Der Urlaub im Hotel Penina hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es hat alles hervorragend funktioniert.
Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und die Einrichtungen im Hotel
waren alle zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Der Championship Golfplatz war in recht gutem Zustand und für uns eine echte Herausforderung.
Wir bedanken uns bei ihnen für die hervorragende Organisation der Reise und freuen uns auf
einen weiteren Urlaub in Portugal nach zweimal Estoril und nun an der Algarve.
