Sophisticated tourist complex

The Vale do Lobo Golf Resort, in the Algarve, Portugal, is home to two exceptional golfing challenges: the Royal and the Ocean golf courses, based on original concepts by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton and re-developed by renowned American golf course architect, Rocky Roquemore.

Get distracted by the amazing landscape

The two Vale do Lobo Golf Courses complement each other delightfully. As its name implies, the Vale do Lobo Ocean Golf Course provides attractive links-style holes adjacent to the Atlantic, yet offering variety with the parkland holes, meandering through the Vale do Lobo estate.

The Vale do Lobo Ocean Golf Course features undulating sandy fairways which run alongside nature reserve, before leading gently down to the shores of the Atlantic, allowing golfers to tee-off alongside some of the most incredible ocean views of the Algarve and Portugal.

The Vale do Lobo Ocean Course's emblematic holes are two challenging and spectacular Par 4s, the 11th and the 14th – which treat golfers to some of the most spectacular views in the Algarve - and the Par 3 15th, which runs alongside the beach.

Luxurious facilities

A host of top-notch clubhouse facilities enhance the Vale do Lobo golf experience: an excellent brasserie and restaurant, practice and training facilities including a fully-equipped Fitness Centre, Vale do Lobo.
