On the 27th May 2023, the Penina Hotel & Golf Resort will be hosting the ultimate team golfer event to celebrate the founder of golf in the Algarve, Sir Henry Cotton. This tournament invites amateur teams from all over the world to dispute the coveted Sir Henry Cotton International Challenge Trophy. This notable International Trophy Challenge is open to teams of four players (individual players are also welcome to join a team). 

Hosting ten Portuguese Opens, this par 73 won countless awards and features 18 superbly balanced holes. In addition to the two competition rounds, players will also enjoy a cocktail reception, gala dinner and the chance to win a host of exciting prizes.
