Our walking tour will end in one of the oldest Lisbon’s neighbourhoods that survived the earthquake of 1755 – Alfama; famous for its colourful houses and narrow streets, which will lead you to some of the most amazing views over the city and the river.

LISBON TILES AND ANCIENT CERAMICS

(Full Day tour)

In this full-day tour, we will discover the most beautiful tiles in Lisbon city centre and learn everything about this Portuguese art. We will visit Bordalo Pinheiro gardens, one of the most iconic figures of the 19th century Portuguese Culture, famous for his humoristic drawing and ceramic creation.

We will end our tour at the National Tile Museum, very important for its unique Azulejo (tile) collection and for the building where it is located - the ancient Convent of Madre de Deus founded in 1509 by Queen D. Leonor.
