Everything worked out fantastically. The booking of accommodation at Vale do Lobo Resort, tee times, airport transfers, the external golf course at Ombria and the shuttle service all went smoothly.
Regarding Vale do Lobo Resort, the apartments are relatively simple but clean. Housekeeping comes once a week.
A very positive feature is the free shuttle service throughout the resort, which takes you to the golf course, but also to reception, restaurants or the supermarket.
Both The Ocean and Royal Course are great courses with some spectacular tees. Considering the severe storms the week before, the courses were in good condition.

The Ombria golf course, which suffered somewhat from the heavy rain and storms, was in good condition. Ombria is a great course with stunning holes and was a lot of fun playing there.

Pestana Dom Joao location is really great, on the ocean! Staff were helpful, professional, all very good, the buffet breakfast varied and good, complete.
The rooms need some «love», especially the bathroom. Everything else is great so they should address this and invest a bit not to lose their good standards.

NAU morgado, very well maintained, nice, friendly staff, very good breakfast, The site is wide and isolated. good that we had a car. Clean and nice.

The Praia D'el Rey Beachfront was our big suprise! We did not expect a 3 floor condo! The view was just incredible with the sunset, we were ready to move there!!

All bookings and tee times were respected. The courses proposed were amazing (even with the remnants of the storm). I particularly enjoyed the Salgados and the Gramacho, my partner really enjoyed the West Cliffs, Salgados, Vila sol.

As usual we had a good time in Portugal The weather was not the best!
Alvor is nice but not as nice as Cascais although we ate well!

The Penina Hotel & Golf Resort was excellent overall
Peninha golf course's greens were great despite wet conditions all over the course and the access to the course was really smooth.
We chose two drier days to go to espiche golf and thoroughly enjoyed the much drier conditions there.
We hired a car at the airport and our travel arrangements went verry smoothly.

Firstly the accommodation at both the Belmar Hotel and Hilton Vilamoura Golf Resort & Spa was excellent. Both apartments were spacious with good kitchen facilities and very well tended by housekeeping. The Belmar’s resort facilities are excellent, especially in winter time.

Obviously the weather was quite poor but overall we were lucky golf wise. Both Palmares and Vilamoura’s Old course stood out. They were in excellent condition.
The service at the Old course was exceptional - we both remarked that we were never at a golf course where absolutely every staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As in prior years we also enjoyed Boavista golf course.

The hotel rooms at Robinson Quinta da Ria were well designed, and the outlook to the Golf course was amazing. If you can choose the rooms in advance, I would recommend to do so. Nevertheless, a paint job of all buildings and interiors would still improve the overall nice atmosphere. The food and drinks quality was very high and the interior of restaurants, etc. were comfortable. The entertainment in the evening was sometimes really good, and nobody was pushed to participate.

The Quinta da Ria golf course was very well designed and maintained, and some views to the Atlantic were breathtaking. The golf challenge level was high, too. We have heard that the other course Quinta de Cima was hardly playable due to very soft soil which couldn't dry out after the rain Fall.

I just want to drop a quick note to let you know that we had a wonderful time in our stay at Estoril Palacio Hotel. Even the weather was largely cooperating and we had a few reasonable rounds of golfing at Estoril golf. The surprise for my wife's birthday was really an extra nice touch that we did not expect and touching. We were impressed with the altitudes of the staff and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you and all the staff for making our first trip to Portugal so pleasant.

We are off for a few more days in Lisbon but we will be surely back for more visits to this beautiful country and kind people.

Overall, everything was great again:
The Palmares Beach House: we were very satisfied with the location, rooms, breakfast, restaurants, bar, pool area, service, cleaning, etc. The on-site service was exceptional.

The Palmares golf course was also in excellent condition and well-maintained. We really enjoyed the service at the clubhouse.

We had a very pleasent stay and enjoyed the trip at Kimpton Atlântico. The rooms had a nice size, friendly service personnel and the hotel is close to the beach. All fine !
We liked the social hour from 5-6pm and a glas of wine for the guests. We joined a few times.

We never played the Morgado golf course. Was closed every day. Once because of wild boars, the other days because of the rain. We played Alamos 4 times.
Service of Alamos could be more friendly, service of Salgados golf course 10 of 10 points.

Everything worked fine. The weather unfortunately was not the best, but not your fault.

Mariott in Playa del Rey was just perfect, staff extraordinary, the two golf course (Praia D'el Rey and West Cliffs) at the seaside just like Pebble Beach in California, but very windy but beautiful.

Hotel Penha Longa also super Hotel. Golf course too wet, most of the time in the year. but also a super golf course (Atlantic Championship golf course).
Treatment of staff in hotel and Golf office very kind and professional. We got even vourcher for next time to play, because we could not play 2 days.

Palacio Estoril like always excellent too. i love all employees, room compared to the two other hotels small, but ok. Breakfast excellent, Dinner Restaurant Grill first class.

Wyndham Grand Algarve, 5 stars - It was excellent hotel, spa was good and rooms were luxurious, clean and spacious. Great location for golf and I would stay there again without issue. Bar menu needs an update , food here was average. But overall it was the staff that made the stay a pleasure, always friendly and happy. Greeted at reception with a glass of water which was very welcome.

Golf courses were great! Laranjal golf course was exemplary and so well kept. Quinta do Lago North & South courses were a next step and despite huge golf traffic excellently kept, I really enjoyed them and was really happy to play this quality of courses.
