The Hotel Morgado:
A great hotel, friendly service minded staff, big well furnished rooms. Cold pool. Breakfast/Dinner room had really high noise. Food was okay for a buffet. Guests must be made aware of that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It is not easy to just slip out for a dinner one evening!
Golf Courses:
Both Morgado and Alamos are great Courses and well-kept in line with the season.
The shuttle to Salgados worked well, but not worth the 30-min travel. To play the 3rd round on the hotel's 2 courses would have been a better choice.
Rental Clubs:
Excellent service!!! The clubs were really of very high quality and in an excellent shape.
If there is something we should lift as negative is really the restaurant room itself. It is too crowded (too small) and with very loud noise.
La chambre était très bien et le personnel très accueillant.
Malgré la pluie (1 après-midi) et le vent, notre séjour s’est bien passé et nous avons pu profiter de ces merveilleux golfs.
Le Victoria est dure et long, mais c’est un parcours magnifique.
Nous commençons à comprendre les périodes « haute-saison » (pleines d’anglais) et « moyenne saison ».
Je crois qu’à l’avenir, nous privilégierons les périodes de juin et début septembre.
Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de tous les avantages de l’Anantara étant donné la température trop basse pour nous pour un petit plongeon dans la piscine. La piscine intérieure n’est pas une piscine de natation, mais de relaxation faisant partie du SPA.
La chambre était très bien et le personnel très accueillant.
En revanche, pas de promenade possible autour de l’hôtel sans prendre la voiture ou le shuttle de l’hôtel !
Bref, à force de chercher la perfection, on trouve toujours des défauts… qui s’avèrent être mineurs en comparaison de tous les avantages.

We returned well last Friday from our golf trip to the Silver Coast. It was very enjoyable.
On behalf of us all, I would like to thank you for the excellent organization and for making the arrangements for our accommodation, golf green-fees and car rental.
Everything was as described in your confirmation. We received a warm welcome at Praia d'El Rey Resort and at all 3 golf clubs.
The golf courses (Praia d'el Rey, West Cliffs & Royal Obidos) were truly outstanding!
If I may say, what I appreciated most was your efficient and timely response to my e-mails and questions. I have already recommended your name and Portugal Golf Experience to several people.
Sincere thanks once again, and I shall be contacting you again.

Apart from the weather, everyone was very satisfied.
The Onyria Quinta da Marinha hotel was well-prepared, the rooms as advertised clean and well maintained; the staff was very friendly and especially attentive at breakfast.
In total, it is a good place for a golf trip.
The golf courses were well-chosen (Quinta da Marinha, Belas Clube Campo, Estoril & Penha Longa). We particularly liked the monastery complex. The tee times were all adhered to, and we were also able to carry out our flights.
Overall, we are happy to award the grade :excellent and can recommend your organization.

The hotel Pestana Dom João II as usual was very good
We did have a small bit of rain, but overall, it was great. We had meals in the Buganvilla 3 times, Rib Eye once and the Big Red's Steakhouse once. The hotel Pestana Dom João II as usual was very good, they even left a birthday cake in my room, which they have done before.
Thanks again, Kelly, you make it so much easier for me as the organizer. Hopefully next year we will be back.

a real 5-star hotel: the reception, the room with amenities and the service is excellent
Thanks to the whole Portugal golf team and especially to Sara for professional and customer oriented service. We appreciate it. Our stay in Portugal has been enjoyable and even though there has been some (read many ;-) ) rainy days it has been fun.
Golf hotel Marina Club & Palmares was a surprise to us, as we didn’t know beforehand that it was an apartment with cooking possibilities: it was well-equipped, and it was nice to make our own dinner after golf.
From Pestana Dom João II it was easy to walk to Alvor restaurants and the room was spacious enough.
At this moment we are staying at Hotel Palacio Estoril which is a real 5-star hotel: the reception, the room with amenities and the service is excellent.
Regarding the golf courses (Palmares Golf Course; Pinheiros Altos; San Lorenzo; Penina Championship, Gramacho, Vila Sol, Pinta & Silves): they are all nice with their own style. We understand that it is spring and the course conditions are not perfect but in Finland there is snow and no opportunity to play, so these are just great! :)
You never know if there will be new opportunities to have nice time in Portugal.
Probably the best recommendation we can give is that we would love to return.
I would like to say that both Jenny and I thoroughly enjoyed both locations and the golf, despite being challenging in the high winds.
With respect to Palmares Beach House Hotel specifically, we would say:
The hotel surpassed our expectations. The room we had was well appointed, roomy with a great view over the golf course to the sea, spectacular. The room was clean, as were all the communal areas. We only had breakfast at the hotel, this was very good and set us up for the day, with generous servings, especially the omelettes. Probably the best recommendation we can give is that we would love to return.
The golf courses, all 3 (Praia d'el Rey, West Cliffs & Palmares), were varied enough and as mentioned quite challenging. They all were well maintained, with the only adverse comment would be that the directions from tee to green could be clearer. The clubhouse facilities, especially the lunch restaurant and bar, were very pleasant, and the food was good quality.
Finally, a big thank you to all the staff at both the hotel and the clubhouse who made our stay very enjoyable.

In general, it was a very pleasant stay for us, unfortunately the weather did not always cooperate.
The hotel Pestana Dom João II, the service and the catering (breakfast and dinner) were very good, especially the large fresh fruit offer for breakfast and the dinner offer in the evening at a fair price impressed us!
We liked the two golf courses we played, Gramacho and Pinta, very well maintained and partly very tricky to play ;-) ... It was fun and we will be back again!
And also with the rental car, everything worked out well.
All in all, we also enjoyed the Algarve very much and will be happy to come back and contact you again for a booking :)

We had a very enjoyable holiday thanks mostly to the Portuguese mentality and friendliness - yours included!
The Golf-course is fantastic and the people who work there too. The course would greatly benefit from more signs showing where the next Tee is - a lot of people, us included, were walking around looking for them - particularly from Hole 5 to Hole 6.

We found everything perfect, as described and paid for. The accommodation at Boavista Golf Resort was great, every day the bed was made, cleaned and even dishes washed off that were lying around....which can happen with 3 men...!
Playing golf on the 4 different courses (Boavista, Palmares, Santo Antonio & Espiche) was also interesting and varied...we're not talking about the results here....!
Thank you for your effort and good planning. Unfortunately, we can't do this every year, but we'll definitely be back. Greetings from Switzerland. Daniel
