Required documents when entering Portugal:

Essential and Non-Essential travelling is allowed from Eu Countries, Schengen Area countries, Brazil, USA and UK. Other countries may be authorized, but we invite you to check with your airline for more information.

Mandatory when entering Portugal:

• A valid vaccination EU Digital COVID Certificate (with a complete vaccination schedule or with a complete vaccination schedule and a vaccine booster)
• Or a valid test or recovery EU Digital COVID Certificate,
• Or a valid vaccination certificate (with a complete vaccination schedule or a vaccine booster) or recovery certificate issued by a third country, under reciprocal conditions (contact us for the list of countries)
• Or a negative RT-PCR Test (or similar NAAT test) - 72h before boarding
• Or a negative Laboratorial Rapid Antigen Test - 24h before boarding
• Children under 12 do not need to present test.
• All passengers need to fill a Passenger Locator Card (individually) before departure to Portugal or on board.

General rules in Portugal:

Mandatory use of mask in the following circunstances:

- public transports, taxis and similar passenger transports;
- access and visits to care and nursing homes and health facilities.

*RT-PCR Test, laboratorial Rapid Antigen Test or supervised self test performed at entrance accepted.

Behavior rules related with Covid-19 in Portugal:

General behavior guidelines
- Social distancing;
- Frequent hand washing;
- Respiratory etiquette.

Mandatory use of mask
√ In public transport (including air transport and taxis or TVDE), residential structures for the elderly, health establishments.

Clean & Safe

The Portuguese hotels, golf courses and other tourism facilities together with the "Turismo de Portugal" (Portugal Tourism board) have reacted very fast to the new reality and have developped a new Hygiene and Security Protocol with the "Clean and Safe" stamp. 

Cancellation policy

Most of the hotels, golf courses and resorts have shown full flexibility on that subject with easy rescheduling and cancellation. 
It is necessary to have a cancellation deadline to avoid no-shows and total disorganization on the hotels and golf courses side. 
For individual bookings, the cancellation release period is variable from unit to unit and is in average from 7 days to 48hrs before arrival (sometimes more depending on the unit).

When possible, we try to propose golf packages to our clients which do not require pre-payment.

Considering the uncertainty involved with travelling in 2020 and 2021, we make regular check with the clients to assess the evolution of the situation in their country of origin, in Portugal and other variable factors. Closer to the official cancellation deadline, we check if it makes sense to ask for an extension of the deadline.

On Portuguese territory, travelers from affected areas who show symptoms suggestive of respiratory disease during or after travel should immediately contact the National Health Service by calling 808 24 24 24 (SNS24).
