Location

Located between Palmela and Azeitão, 30 min. South of Lisbon in the Serra da Arrabida, the Arrabida Golf Academy was opened in 2009.

Designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, the former Palmela Village Golf, now Arrabida Golf Academy Course, was carefully created to combine with the natural surroundings. With all his experience and passion, the architect has created an executive golf course quicker to play but yet challenging. The Arrabida golf academy is surrounded by pine trees and the Arrábida Mountains in the background.

Arrabida Golf Course in details

With only 3.596 metres long, the Arrabida Golf Academy course is an enjoyable surprise for every golfer, due to its variety of holes and providing very nice challenges even for the more experienced golfer.

Don’t be tricked by a relatively easy start on a short Par 3. There are no 2 similar holes at Arrabida golf academy, providing the player with different challenges for his medium and short game.

The Par 4's are short but narrow with out of bounds in every corner and with very undulated fairways. This requires strategic play to approach the greens, which are large and undulated. And finally, for the unsteady player there are 4 artificial lakes to take his thoughts on 8 holes, specially on holes 5, 13 and 14, with little or no margin for error for the less experienced player.

This is course is for smart play and not drive and putt play.

The highlight of Arrabida Golf Academy course, south of Lisbon, are the final 3 holes, next to the Clubhouse, making it an exciting finish.
